This week has been an OK week at Farleigh. On Monday I went to college and went back to four winds. Angela had already done my shopping list and I had my snack and we watied for some other students and then we went shopping. After shopping I went back and Anglea cooked my tea. I had jsut what I asked for. Angela wasn't forgetful. After tea, we made our packed lunch and then I played on my new Metal Gear Solid HD collection disc that had 3 different games, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I found that Metal Gear Solid 2 was the eaisest out of the 3 and when Snake dies, the game over screen appears and Octacon says either: "Snake what's wrong?" or "Snake respond!" or "Stop kidding arround!" or "Snake? are you OK?" or "What were you thinking?" and then he says "Snake? Snaaaake!"
On Tuesday,, I got up, had a shower, went downstairs to take a tablet for my spots and then I had breakfast and went to College. We are no longer doing spreadsheet lessons anymore. Instead, we are continuing on the Business IT Skilss unit. We will be able to finish our last spreadsheet assesment during Workshops on Tuesdays. After College, I went to the Learning Centre and I had a Literacy and Numerancy session. The Literacy session was more fun that the Numeracy because we were making our scripts for our radio show that our group will be making.
In our Numeracy lesson with Martin, we were looking at probability with numbers. After that, Hannah took me back to four winds and I had my tea. I didn't like my tea because the potato wasn't mashed properly so it become a bit lumpy. After when Hannah finished her tea and did some washing up, w made our packed lunch and then we went upstairs. Bop It wanted us to play my electronic Millionaire game again so we took it dowstairs and played Millionaire. We got up to the £64,000 question which we gussed and we got it wrong so we won £32,000. We also played Metal Ger Solid 2 and we were against a female boss.
On Wednesady, I got up, had a shower and went downstairs to take me tablet and then I had my breakfast. Unfornatley Ben was in the lounge and he was playing his guitar. Jacqui, Sue (Ben's personal tutor) and I all went to catch the 9:35 Fairsaver buss. The buss driver had the same hairstyle as Elvis! After doing 2 hours of Web devlopment at College, I had my lunch and then I went back to Four Winds. I striped off my bed and clothes and put it in the washing machine before Emma came. With Emma, I made my bed, transfrered my washing into the tumble dryer and we played some online puzzle games.
This afternoon was pretty exciting because Angela and I manage to beat the first boss in Metal Gear Solid 2! The day before, Octacon said to us that we can destroy the light and the tarpoling but we didn't realize that we had to shoot them before she uses them as it makes it more difficult. Angela Babber made my tea and after tea we sorted out my washing and then we went bowling. I had a couple of strikes and spares and out of the 2 games we played my highest score was 96.
I only have a short week next week and I'm looking forward to hopefully getting a new HP laptop. My Novatech Nspire Pro hasn't been that great as the mouse pad gets slower and soemtimes the keybaoard keys are less responsive. I have found a nice HP laptop at Staples which if Novatech decide to refund me, this is what I'll be getting.

A better and short week at Farleigh and another update to Windows 8!
This week, I had a better week at Farleigh.
On Monday Morning I went to college and had a great day. After college, I went back to Fourwinds and Jacqui drove me back with a few other students. I went shopping with Angela Babber and there was a Duracell battery offer at ASDA and it was a buy 1 get 1 free. After shopping, Angela cooked my tea. She made a mistake with my tea but I still enjoyed it. She put croquets on the tray instead of chiips. Other than that, I had a nice evening with Babber.
On Tuesday, I went to college and then I had Speech and Language Therapy with my Learning Centre group in the Therapy Room at North Perade. Angela told me she was going to be at North Perade on Tursday and Wednesday and I saw her whilst I was waiting. Will and I had to ask questions that were on a sheet and Will and Rob had to do the same. I would ask Will questions on one side of the paper and Will would aski me questions on the other side. After Speech & language, we had a short break and then we went to the Learning Centre and we had Maths with Martin. We were on MyMaths and we were also playing the MyMaths version of the game 'Play your Cards Right'l
You can play the game here:
http://www.mymaths.co.uk/samples/playyourcards.swf
After the Learning Centre, Hannah took me back to Four Winds. I had my tea and we were playing on a new, old PS1 game, Meteal Gear Solid. The game over screens are very funny as in the background you hear whoever is watching Snake, "Snake? What Happened? Snake!!!!!? Snaaaaaake!"
I am expecting the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection which will be at Four Winds next week.
Bop It forced us to play my electronic Millionaire game so we took it downstairs and play a game of Millionaire with Ross.
On Wednesday, I was allowed to go hoe as I had a parents meeting with my Tutor, Peter who likes to say "Alright ok!" a lot. He reminds me of my Brain Shift as when you turn it on sometimes he says "Alright!" and sometimes he says "Ok!". I also had my interview for my Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT which I was offered a condition place. I have to achieve an overall Merit grade in my Level 2 to do the Level 3 couse and Peter says that I should get the Merit grade.
Windows 8 Update
Microosft have announced that a release preview version of Windows 8 will be ready for download during the first week of June. I will be in Portugal when this happens and I will be downloading it on a Portugeese wireless connection!

Back after Easter Holidays and I was struggling (Windows 8 update too)
On Sunday evening, I wasn't really looking forward to going back to Farleigh. I had a nice sleep but then on Monday morning, I felt like I was going to struggle. On the way over I felt like I wanted mum to take me home but Bop It said "Sorry!" so I couldn't go home. I had about 7 dudes from the point we were in Trowbridge to the point we were at the base room. At the base room, Sharon was there. I knew that Jacqui was driving in to college as that's what she does on a Monday Morning. I felt comfortable throughout the day and during the evening because I had Angela looking after me. Mum forgot the rolls and ham. We went shopping after tea but I didn't realise I forgot a lot. I had to go to the little Tesco with Babber. Babber had a game on my Tetris game I bought for my 3DS. She wasn't that good but she enjoys playing it because it brings her back memories from the time she played it at the arcade when she was young. Angela and I also looked at our summer term targets that I have to achieve by the end of the term.
On Tuesday Morning, I felt a bit sad because I wasn't looking forward to eating breakfast with Ben again. I sat at the table and he was there eating his breakfast. I had to eat breakfast with Ben but it was OK. I had a nice day at college and then I went to the Learning Centre. In our English sessions our group will be making a radio show on a freeware program called Audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
You can do all sorts of things on this program. I have used it before and I use it on my computer at home. I also have it on my Mac too. It's great for creating and editing audio files.
In my numeracy lesson with Martin, we were working through some GCSE exam questions so that Martin can look through our papers and see which areas we struggle in.
In the evening, Hannah watched me play Snake on my phone as well as asking Bop It what game we should play next.
The following things mean yes:
"Dude!"
(Says nothing)
"Do It the same, but better!"
When it says "Sorry!" it could mean different things.
When it says "Oh boy!" and "Uh, no!" it means no.
On Wednesday, I went on the buss to college, come back and had a muma mia with my washing. I put a set on and didn't realise that I haven't stripped my bed so I had to put my bedding in another washing machine. I had Emma and I struggled to do my duvet. I managed to do it in the end and Emma and I checked my washing and then I was with Babber. We played on my games, we had tea and then we went bowling and Nath invited her girlfriend Sophie over. In the first game of bowling, I had a couple of spares and we were on 2 lanes. Angela (who was called Babber on the scoreboard) won the first game. On the second game, Sophie won.
I was pleased to get home again today and next Wednesday I will be going home because I got a parents evening and interview for my next year's course at Trowbridge College.
Windows 8 Update
This has been a busy week for Microsoft. When I looked on Tuesday morning, I was very excited because Microsoft announced the editions and said that Windows 8 will be the official name for the next version of Windows.
Windows 8 will be available in 2 different editions:
Windows 8
Windows 8 Pro
There will also be a new version of Windows added to the Windows Family which will be called Windows RT which will be pre-installed on ARM devices and there will be an edition for large companies called Windows 8 Enterprise which most schools and colleges use the Enterprise version of Windows 7.
Microsoft have also announced that the next server version will be called Windows Server 2012.
In the coming months Microsoft will release a Release Candidate build of Windows 8 which is a near-final version and they will be announcing pricing and promotions and off course when Windows 8 will be released to manufacturing (RTM).

My last week before Easter + Abe's Oddysee Speedrun update
On Monday, I went back from college to four winds and it was surprising because Karen was unable to take me shopping that evening, I had to go to ASDA with Babber, Graham and a few other students just like a normal Monday evening. I enjoyed that more because it was nice to catch up with Babber and do a bit of shopping at the same time. Although I see her at the base room at college, she also looks after me at Four Winds on Monday and Wednesday. When we got back, we had tea and then t evenwe had a nice relaxing evening.
On Tuesday, I went to college and the base room was a bit noisy as everyone was looking forward to breaking up for Easter. However, there was one student who was going home early that evening and it was Ben! I was please that evening when he left and just as I went back from North Parade to do an hour of Speech and Language to an hour of Maths, Ben was leaving the building' I had nothing to worry about for the rest of the week.
On Wednesday, there was no college. I had to do a whole day at Four Winds. It was a lot different to a normal Wednesday because Jacqui and I went out in the Dudey with James to do some recycling but the recycling centre was shut. So we went back and then we walked into Frome and bought some ready salted Chipsticks for my lunch. After lunch, Jacqui had to go to Trowbridge to picked up some students from the base room as the base room was still open for work based learning and on the way she did some recycling. When she came back, we had a game of Bop It and then Emma came and I did a nice short session with her. All we did was stripped my bed, looked at some puzzles and checked my washing.
After that, I was with Babber again and after tea we went Bowling. Before Bowling, Nath had a go at some of my games and he invited Sophie from North Parade.

It sounds like I had a good week and I will have another term of Fabulous Farleigh coming my way.
Speedrun update
I have recently made a 100% speedrun of Abe's Oddyse for PC to Speed Demos Archive and Flip (a forum/site admin( has sent my any% run of the game and the 100% run to the verifiers since last Friday.
I can contact Flip on the forum and I sent him a PM tonight so hopefully he'll reply to me.
Also I am working on an any% run on the PS1 version of Abe's Oddysee. There are a few differences between the PC and PS1 Europe version of the games and that is in the PS1 version you can walk through walls with Elum (Abe's camel that you ride on in Paramonia and Scrabania levels) and you can do an infinite pickup glitch which unfortunately when I try to do it in the Paramonian Temple (Door 2) the game crashes.

A good wekk at Farleigh + a good short week
Last week, I had a really good week.
On Monday I went to college, went back to fourwinds. I did my shopping, had my tea and then we watched Finding Nemo. The DVD was scratched so we couldn't watch the whole film. We got to this scene:

After watching a bit of Finding Nemo, Babber and I made my packed lunch and then we went upstairs and play on my games.
On Tuesday morning, I went to college and after college I had a speech and language therapy session with Helen. Before I went to the Therapy Room, I saw Babber as she was working at North Perade for the evening. In my Learning Centre group there are 2 Wills. One Will likes the Go Compare adverts and the other Will doesn't. When I went back, Hannah made my tea and then we went upstairs and played on my games for the rest of the evening.
On Wednesday, we catched the bus to college and then I had OT in the afternoon. Emma and I changed my bed and we had a look at some online puzzle websites. James who is Mark's personal tutor couldn't book a lane for our normal time at bowling so he had to book an earlier lane. A new student who will be joining us in September came along to the bowling trip so Babber had to take her car. Before bowling, I spent some time with Nath.
After bowling we went back to fourwinds and spent the rest of the evening with Babber.
On Thurseday it was time to go home today. I enjoyed my week at college and the good thing was that I managed to speak to Ben about one of his favourite bands.
This week was a really short week and Bop It was getting slower and slower. On Monday evening, I went shopping, had tea and played on my slow-motion Bop It Extreme 2 with Babber. It survived that evening. On Tuesday, I had Literacy and Numeracy at the Learning Cetnre as I will be having Helen every other week. Bop It was still alive. On Wednesday, it was my Birthday! It felt a bit strange waking up at Farleigh on my Birthday because the last 16 years I always been waking up at home. Before I went home in the afternoon, I spent some time with Nath, James and Babber's son George. The Bop It finally ran out and Alley put some new batteries in for me and she also made my bed ready for next week. When the dudey van came round to pick me up for my Birthday trip home, Sue Read came to visit Fourwinds and Emma was cancelled. I am glad that next week will be my last week before Easter and Dad and I will be seeing Mum down the Caravan in the Dudey as Mum and a few of her friends will be going down the caravan.

A week at Farleigh with a new change
This week, I had a change on Tuesday!
On Monday, I got up, had breakfast and went to college. After my day at college, I went back to 4winds and Mondays was just normal. I did my shopping with Karen, came back, had my tea and then spent the rest of the evening with Babber.
On Tuesday, I woke up, had breakfast and I was stuck in a traffic jam on my way to college, did my day at college, went to the Learning Centre and then I went back to 4winds. I thought that Ross was going to look after me but no, it was a new staff member called Hannah! I had my tea and after tea I felt really upset so I spoke to Dad and whilst I was speaking to dad, mum phoned up Steve who came up and spoke to me. I managed to get use to the change as the evening went on. Hannah comes from Westbury, so does Ross! We played a bit of Millionaire and then Ross made my roll for Wednesday. I was so glad that Tuesdsay was over because I know that I would see Babber the next day. I would see her at the Base room at college during the day.
On Wednesday, I woke up, had breakfast and catch the buss to college. I had to eat with Ben but there was another new staff member there and I was speaking to her. When I got back from College, I put my washing on and stripped my bed, and then played Bop It and Brain Shift with Steve. Then I went back upstairs and waited for Emma to arrive. After my session with Emma, I went downstairs and Babber was playing Chess with Nath. So I watched Nath beat Babber at chess and then we went upstairs and played a few games. Angela had to help with the house food so I was on my own for a little while. After tea, I went bowling. Nath invited his girlfriend Holly over. Holly is a day student at Farleigh who lives in Bath. There wasn't any lights on. We didn't know why they turned the lights on but Jacqui reckons that because it was full room it could have been a Moonlight Bowl.
I had quite an interesting week this week and I have got a Boogey ball to take back to my room next week and I will be watching Finding Nemo on Monday evening as Karen (who I went shopping with) only saw it once and she would like to see it again. Bubbles! bubbles bubblbes bubblbes bubblbes! "He likes bubbles!" "Dude! Focus Dude! Dude! Oww he is a dude!"

Another week at farleigh
On Monday morning I wasn't feeling very well. I didn't really feel like going residential but I went to college in the morning. I felt heady during the day but after College it was time to go back to 4winds. Whilst Jacqui was taking me and a few others back to 4winds I saw 7 dudey vans. One of them was a "Surfs up dude!" When I got back to 4winds, I had my snack and went shopping at Sainsbury's with Karen. We bought all the food we needed for the week and whilst we were shopping Angela Babber cooked my tea. I had fish cakes chips and peas. After tea, me and Angela played on Abe's Oddysee. We did a speed run. Here is an example on what a speed run of Abe's oddysee is:
As you can see, the whole game is played as fast as the player can. This guy is an Italian guy called LoStraniero. He beats the game in 50 minutes and 55 seconds. I can do it in 49:00 and I'm currently submitting my run to speeddemosarchive.com as their world record is 56:58
When Abe was at a new area, I asked Bop It if I should carry on speed running and he kept on saying "dude!" and he didn't say nothing which to us means yes. We also played a bit of Groove It and Brain Shift.
On Tuesday, I woke up, had a shower and had breakfast and went to college. After College I had my first session with Helen at North Parade (the main Farleigh building). Helen does Speech & Language therapy. She told us that on the 13th of March we will be having her at 4 and then we'll have our literacy and numeracy sessions at the Learning Centre a bit later. Mum doesn't like the sound of me doing 3 hours of work as that would mean that I start from 9 till 7! We didn't have Literacy this week but we did have numeracy with Martin normal time. I went back to 4winds at 6pm and the Babber had finished cooking my tea. I didn't like the chicken as the chicken we bought at Sainsbury's was a bit different to Tesco but I ate as much as I could. After tea, we played a bit of Abe (which we got the bad ending and decided to save 50 Mudokons to complete the game) and then we played on the Millionaire game. We didn't do well this week as we only won £1,000. We were on the £32,000 question and we got it wrong.
On Wednesday I didn't catch the bus in the morning as Sharron (the base room leader) needed a dudey so we drove the dudey into college when it was time for our lessons. I went back to 4winds early than usual. I usually go back at 1:!5 on a Wednesday but Jacqui took me, Sue and Crazy Ben back to 4winds at 12:30. During the afternoon, it was an exciting afternoon as Microsoft finally launched the Consumer Preview of Windows 8! It is a beta version and if you really want to download it, you can download it here:
It was revealed during the Mobile World Congress Conference in Barcelona! But before that, Alison and I did my washing and strip off my bed before Emma came so that she could show me how to do the tumble dryer. Unfortunately, she didn't know how to work one of the tumble dryers so we had to ask someone to come and show us how to use it.
After I had my session with Emma, me and Angela played on Abe's Oddysee again and we managed to get to the ending area (The Boardroom). Whilst I was playing it, Emma came back upstairs to let me know that I was one of the chosen students by OFFSTED to have a chat with an OFFSTED inspector and show them around the house. Angela said to Emma "We are near the end of the game and we are going to get the good ending. Do you want to see it?" and surprising, Emma came and watch the final level and good ending of Abe's Oddysee!
After tea, we had an OFFSTED inspector called Wendy. She chat to Louise first and then we had a chat with her about Farleigh and then we showed her around the house as she needed to check the house. After that, Nath, James and I went bowling. In the morning I saw that Crazy Ben was on the list but luckily he didn't come! I managed to get a spear in my 2 games and when I got back, I had nice clean clothes for next week and I snuggled up in my feathers and then it was home day when I woke up.
As you can see, the whole game is played as fast as the player can. This guy is an Italian guy called LoStraniero. He beats the game in 50 minutes and 55 seconds. I can do it in 49:00 and I'm currently submitting my run to speeddemosarchive.com as their world record is 56:58
