My last 2 weeks at Farleigh for the Year

I had a good week at Farleigh this week but last week I wasn't feeling well. I had a nasty cold. I went in fine Monday morning, managed to do some shopping but didn't feel like staying at Four Winds on the evening. Alley phoned up mum and asked her to come and get me. After tea, we went back home and I had a nice week at home. I was round Nanny and Pop's house alot as Mum had to go to work.

This week, everything was nice and smooth except from Monday morning when I didn't feel like going back. On Tuesday, I had Christmas dinner with all the other students. I didn't like the turkey as it was a bit thick but it was nice and tasty. On Wednesday, I won at bowling! I managed to beat Angela and I scored 95.

There are lots of nice things to look forward to next year. One of them is Windows 8! In Feburary, Microsoft will be releasing a pre-release feature complete build of Windows 8 known as the Windows 8 Beta. It will be released to the public which means that everyone is welcome to try it out on any PC that meets the minium system requirements.

After passing the Beta milestone, Microsft will release a newer build known as the Release Candidate which means that everything you will see in this build will appear in the final version but there still may be some software bugs that the Windows team haven't fixed yet. After that, Windows 8 will be released to manufacturing and the final build will be released to the genereal public.

There will also be a new Bop It game which will be revealed at the Toy Fair next year!

I wishh everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Ho Ho Ho!

Another week at Farleigh

On Monday, I went to college OK. After college, I went back to four winds, had a snack and went shopping with Petra as four winds was low on staff so Angela couldn't go shopping with me. Whilst I was shopping Angela made my tea and after tea we went upstairs and later on that evening we watched I'm a Celeb. There was a new cutscene which was a scorpion! When Angela saw it, it scared her! It was also that time again when Torx decides to start changing his pitch. We all knew that Torx was giving us an early warning that the batteries are running out.

Tuesday was even better! Angela was meant to be going out for a meal at Babberland but she had to stay at four winds because again, there were short on staff. I was very happy as she spent the evening we me and Torx managed to survive another evening. I also went to the learning centre and I did my literacy and numeracy sessions there.

On Wednesday afternoon, Torx ran out completely. He went extremely slow and Jacque and I couldn't play it in slow motion. Therefore, me and Angela changed the batteries and whilst I was eating my tea, Emma came back with my new Torx for home! I also went bowling. On the first game Angela scored 117 and on the second game she was called 'Babber' on the scoreboard and she didn't win. I did well. I had some spares.

I was looking forward to Thursday morning as it was time for me to come home again. Now I only got 2 weeks left at Farleigh and next Thursday it's gonna be my last train journey for the term.
