Back after Easter Holidays and I was struggling (Windows 8 update too)

On Sunday evening, I wasn't really looking forward to going back to Farleigh. I had a nice sleep but then on Monday morning, I felt like I was going to struggle. On the way over I felt like I wanted mum to take me home but Bop It said "Sorry!" so I couldn't go home. I had about 7 dudes from the point we were in Trowbridge to the point we were at the base room. At the base room, Sharon was there. I knew that Jacqui was driving in to college as that's what she does on a Monday Morning. I felt comfortable throughout the day and during the evening because I had Angela looking after me. Mum forgot the rolls and ham. We went shopping after tea but I didn't realise I forgot a lot. I had to go to the little Tesco with Babber. Babber had a game on my Tetris game I bought for my 3DS. She wasn't that good but she enjoys playing it because it brings her back memories from the time she played it at the arcade when she was young. Angela and I also looked at our summer term targets that I have to achieve by the end of the term.

On Tuesday Morning, I felt a bit sad because I wasn't looking forward to eating breakfast with Ben again. I  sat at the table and he was there eating his breakfast. I had to eat breakfast with Ben but it was OK. I had a nice day at college and then I went to the Learning Centre. In our English sessions our group will be making a radio show on a freeware program called Audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

You can do all sorts of things on this program. I have used it before and I use it on my computer at home. I also have it on my Mac too.  It's great for creating and editing audio files.

In my numeracy lesson with Martin, we were working through some GCSE exam questions so that Martin can look through our papers and see which areas we struggle in.

In the evening, Hannah watched me play Snake on my phone as well as asking Bop It what game we should play next.
The following things mean yes:
"Dude!"
(Says nothing)
"Do It the same, but better!"

When it says "Sorry!" it could mean different things.
When it says "Oh boy!" and "Uh, no!" it means no.

On Wednesday, I went on the buss to college, come back and had a muma mia with my washing. I put a set on and didn't realise that I haven't stripped my bed so I had to put my bedding in another washing machine. I had Emma and I struggled to do my duvet. I managed to do it in the end and Emma and I checked my washing and then I was with Babber. We played on my games, we had tea and then we went bowling and Nath invited her girlfriend Sophie over. In the first game of bowling, I had a couple of spares and we were on 2 lanes. Angela (who was called Babber on the scoreboard) won the first game. On the second game, Sophie won.

I was pleased to get home again today and next Wednesday I will be going home because I got a parents evening and interview for my next year's course at Trowbridge College.

Windows 8 Update

This has been a busy week for Microsoft. When I looked on Tuesday morning, I was very excited because Microsoft announced the editions and said that Windows 8 will be the official name for the next version of Windows.

Windows 8 will be available in 2 different editions:
Windows 8
Windows 8 Pro

There will also be a new version of Windows added to the Windows Family which will be called Windows RT which will be pre-installed on ARM devices and there will be an edition for large companies called Windows 8 Enterprise which most schools and colleges use the Enterprise version of Windows 7.

Microsoft have also announced that the next server version will be called Windows Server 2012.

In the coming months Microsoft will release a Release Candidate build of Windows 8 which is a near-final version and they will be announcing pricing and promotions and off course when Windows 8 will be released to manufacturing (RTM).
